Is it possible to take a private group english horse back riding lessons?
I’m just curious to know if horse back riding places allow you to take lessons with like 2 of your friends privately?
If you are all at a similar level usually instructors wont mind giving a group lesson to you. I used to take a lessons with just my friends. The only way to find out if it is possible would be to call english stables in the area and explain your situation.

Stirrup Leathers
Can I Oil my Stirrup Leathers?
I heard you should always oil new tack. I also heard you should not oil stirrup leathers because it causes them to stretch.
My stirrup leathers are nylon lined beval ones, so they shouldn’t stretch too much.
Is it okay? I really would rather oil them so they will not be much lighter than my saddle.
They are real leather.
I’ll oil them w/ olive oil
I won’t use them until tomorrow.
if they are new oil them once and then let them sit until the oil soaks in
i oil mine about once a year, it helps them keep softness & color and yes they will stretch if you oil them too much

Mini Pony
Why might my very friendly miniature pony suddenly be acting quite obstinate?
We just got a mini pony. He was super friendly and tame..very loving. We put him in with the lambs as he is the only pony we have because we know they are social. He has recently become rather obstinate, not wanting to move when we need him to and just not himself. We are new to mini ponies, any suggestions or possible resources that we can learn more?
First, get a vet check. Rule out any problems that may be causing him pain. Then a little work will do. I own and breed minis…..they are just like ‘big’ horses! They need work on a regular basis, or they will become obstinate also!
