Sadly HDR well made leather saddles French are not manufactured in Europe, which means they have not know how to take over time. The trees tend to deform, leather door through. Looking at the price tag on Amadeus I'll say the same thing, not in Europe and the quality of leather less wise. The best way would be to find a used or Crosby Crump, perhaps Stuben a CC. At least it would be broken already and keep its resale value.
